MITM Anniversary Celebration

As you’ve likely heard on the air, September is anniversary month for Martini in the Morning. On September 6th, 2006, we launched MITM on the Internet from the office of “Mortgage Minute Guy” Roger Schlesinger, just 7 miles away from our current studio. Much has changed in the 9 years we’ve been on the air, but the one thing that hasn’t changed is our determination to provide you with the Greatest Songs Ever Written, online around the clock and around the world. Despite the fact that the over-the-air radio industry has all but abandoned the music we all love, we know there is a significant and growing audience across the USA and around the world for our music. We continue to count on your help “Sharing the Music” to get the word out to anyone looking for this music on the radio.

You will play a big part in our September celebration, as we celebrate 9 years, and kick off our 10th year serving you. Our celebration culminates with our 9th Anniversary Party, Monday night September 28th at Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood. The party features Ron Jones’ Influence Jazz Orchestra, the same amazing band featured at Mother Miriam’s 75th Birthday Bash in 2013. Several special guest vocalists will join Ron and the band, including the voice of MITM, Steve Tyrell, and our dear friend and amazing performer, Deana Martin. Along with Steve and Deana, fabulous Jazz trumpet and flugelhorn player and singer Rick Braun and Dave Damiani’s trio The Instigators will perform.

Mother Miriam says to keep listening to Martini in the Morning for more surprises, as she intends to make this event a celebration of Brad “Martini” Chambers’ 60th birthday. “I’m gonna turn the tables on him for all the times he’s teased me about my age,” Mother Miriam said.

Tickets for this very special evening go on sale Thursday, August 20th and can be purchased from the Catalina Jazz Club website http://www.catalinajazzclub.com/ or by calling (323) 466-2210. VIP seats are $100 and are the first rows directly in front of the stage and include a Martini On t-shirt and show poster. Preferred seating (still center stage) is $60, and general admission is $35. Mother Miriam’s birthday show sold out very quickly and with so much amazing Martini in the Morning entertainment, this special event will as well.

You read earlier that you will play a big part in our anniversary – Read Brad’s “Rambling” to learn more about how you can participate, whether you come to the event at Catalina Jazz Club or not. It’s a celebration for the entire Martini in the Morning family.
